Hi I’m Lee. I am a proud 50 year old father and grandfather. One of my passions is health and helping people improve their health and wellbeing.

About ten years ago I was diagnosed with spondylitis, waking up most mornings with chronic backache sometimes unable to get out of bed because the pain was so severe and as a result, being on the strongest painkilling medication the doctors could prescribe without me being unable to function as a normal human being. I also had severe psoriasis. I was literally covered over my back, chest, arms and legs.

I have gone from this sorry state to being able to spring out of bed in the mornings with no pain at all and have recently taken up martial arts 🙂  In fact sometimes I forget I’ve actually had a back issue.  It seems like another person’s experience and my psoriasis has cleared up too, apart from odd little flair ups on my hands once in a while, just to remind me I still have work to do.

How did I do it? Because of my situation I was able to do an incredible amount of research on the available on-line material that interested me and what made sense. Step by step I changed my diet, detoxed my body  worked on my beliefs and my emotional issues.  I changed my life. Now I primarily eat a plant-based diet, enjoying a mixture of cooked and raw whole foods, super-foods and ferments. I am processed/sugar free as well as wheat-free.  Pretty much everything I eat is locally grown organic seasonal . We as a family get our veggies every week from a local organic farm and most of our other supplies from a local health food shop.

For me spotting the coincidences or synchronicity is a sure sign that I’m on the right path, following the natural order of things.  A good example of how synchronicity has played a part in my life is how I decided to train as a health coach. Just a few days after making the decision to make a career change and after looking at a few online courses but not finding anything that really excited me, my partner forwarded me an e-mail she received from one of her signups about IIN.
The things that I am interested in health, whole foods, well-being, self empowerment are very much aligned what the school teaches. As we are all different, the exact same diet will not work for everyone. Although eating clean, healthy food will. What is most important is what is meaningful and important to you in your life, fulfilling relationships and finding exercise you love. Food is secondary to this. I can help you live a healthier happier life.
